Project Gaia: It hath created!
The third worldbuilding week is over and these posts still got no images. Well, that's the problem with text written concepts (and code for that matter). They seldom produce visual, artistic output... Anyway, we're done with Project Gaia's (PG) story of creation! Woob woob wooooob! *Yeaaah Fireworks!*
The world got it's own continents now and the "Gods" have left the stage for their creatures. This week has been more productive than the last. We've written down the world's story of creation in good detail and we even got some well defined ideas on how the world's history will go on. We let other people in on our writings too, that they may give Feedback and help us fix errors and inconsistencies. A big shoutout to Mownyan, ZombieCeli , Vergil93 and all the other less active people on the internet, who help us build this world!
Next up we'll define
- what the world map of this planet looks like,
- how all the creatures, that run around on the world will be named
- and I will set up a little planetary simulation in Unity3D, to check when and how certain constellations of our celestial bodies will come to be (for holidays, eclipses and stuff).
If we're through with that, we're tackling history. We'll develop the world's history up to the point where the so called Game Saga begins. Game Saga is the name we gave to the story arc, which revolves around the old Legends of System Gaia. That means when history is written, it'll be as far as the point where the remake of our old Legends of System Gaia will begin.
I'm really looking forward to this moment!
